My name is Dawne...
Yes, there is an "E" on the end of my name. An "E" was added to my name to match my twin brothers name. I didn't have much of a choice in the matter, even though it has caused a bit of name grief in my life. It does brand me a bit unique in the name department, but it is also a struggle for people to spell my name correctly.
I am very in love with nature and anything outdoors. I am madly in love with my husband, and cannot imagine what this life would be like without my three children. They keep my life moving and there is never a dull moment. The inspiration for my art comes from the things that I am passionate about. I want to convey the extraordinary in the ordinary. The vibrant colors in butterfly wings, the song that the bird sings, the different hues in the ocean, the different skin tones in humans, are all things that we see, and I want them to come alive in my artwork.
